One-on-One Coaching & Consulting FAQs
-
One-on-one consulting is personalized support tailored to your business goals, challenges, and stage of growth. Sessions focus on practical problem solving, decision making, and building systems that make your business manageable and sustainable. Your entire experience is customized to your needs, goals, and long-term objectives.
-
This service is ideal for business owners, makers, and creators who want individualized guidance rather than group instruction. It works especially well for clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure which steps matter most right now.
-
Topics may include business strategy, operations, pricing, financial organization, marketing clarity, time management, and growth planning. Sessions are guided by your priorities rather than a fixed curriculum.
-
Consulting focuses on guidance, analysis, and strategic direction based on experience and best practices. The goal is clarity and action, not motivation alone.
-
Traditionally, sessions are approximately one hour. However, session length can be adjusted based on your final offer structure, but clients can expect focused, intentional use of time with clear takeaways.
-
Clients are encouraged to come with questions, materials, or challenges they want to address. Preparation helps ensure sessions are productive and targeted. Occasionally, your consultant will ask you to complete tasks prior to your next session. Completing those tasks are imperative for the success of your one-on-one consulting program.
-
Both options may be available. Some clients work with Spark for a defined project, while others choose ongoing support during periods of growth or transition.
-
If you want clear guidance, honest feedback, and practical next steps without fluff, one-on-one consulting is a strong fit. We strongly believe in empowerment through education and knowledge. If you want someone to do the work for you, this is not the right program for you. You need to want to learn it, understand it, and put in the work to make it happen.
Pricing Audits FAQs
-
A pricing audit is a structured review of your current pricing to determine whether it supports profitability, sustainability, and your long term goals. It examines costs, margins, effort, and market alignment.
-
Pricing audits are ideal for makers and business owners who feel underpaid, unsure of their numbers, or confused about why sales do not translate into profit.
-
A pricing audit typically reviews costs, time investment, pricing formulas, margins, and product mix. It also identifies gaps or assumptions that may be hurting profitability.
-
At Spark for Small Businesses, we will never tell a client what they have to do. We will make recommendations based on data and research. The audit provides clear guidance and recommendations while helping you understand how pricing decisions are made. The goal is confidence and clarity, not rigid rules.
-
Pricing audits are especially common for product-based businesses, but service-based creatives can also benefit, depending on their structure.
-
Even established pricing can benefit from review. Many businesses outgrow their original pricing without realizing it.
-
Pricing audits help balance profitability with customer alignment. Often the issue is not price alone, but positioning and clarity. We will provide a roadmap of how to introduce pricing transitions in the audit.
-
Timelines can be clarified, but audits are designed to be efficient and focused rather than drawn out. We find that traditionally, pricing audits take 12 weeks. However, that timeline is only an average. Time will be significantly impacted by various factors, including but not limited to the number of items/services you offer.
