Meet Christine
She’s been where you are, and she knows the way forward.
AASBC Accredited Small Business Consultant
Christine did not come to this work from a boardroom. She began as a young maker and mom, selling handmade goods at craft shows and doing her best to run a creative business without any real guidance. At that stage, the business side did not come naturally, and she remembers how confusing and discouraging it often felt.
As her path evolved, she came to understand that many makers and creative entrepreneurs are not lacking business ability or strategic thinking, but access to business education that is translated in a way that truly fits how creative minds work.
That understanding led her into a career in business and human resources, four entrepreneurial ventures, and ultimately to earning her accreditation as an Accredited Small Business Consultant (ASBC) through the International Association of Small Business Consultants.
She created Spark for Small Businesses to offer makers the guidance, clarity, and support she wished she had when she was learning how to turn her craft into income without losing the joy of creating.

Katie G,

“Working with Christine has been so helpful for the development of my business. I particularly appreciated her attentiveness in our conversations; she asked the right questions that helped me to distill my ideas into a clearer vision. Her presence boosted my confidence in my work and also in my ability to get to the place I wanted to be. The resources she provided me with were clearly presented, with enough detail to feel supported but easy to implement and not overwhelming. I can find running a business on my own quite isolating, and working with Christine felt like I had another team member, which was incredibly valuable. Not to mention having some accountability!”
